The Best of La Rioja and San Sebastián

Transfer of the participants from the airport of arrival to the place of accommodation in La Rioja. Estimated journey from 1 hour and a half to 2 hours depending on the arrival airport (Bilbao, San Sebastián, Pamplona or Biarritz)
In the afternoon there will be a tour of about 40 kilometers to personalize the bike with the cyclist. Taking measures, advice and explanation of the routes will be the contents of the information that will be offered to the participants.

Breakfast and departure to enjoy cycling the main stage through the region of La Rioja. On this circular route we will visit the towns of Elciego (Marqués de Riscal Winery), Nájera and Santo Domingo de la Calzada, places where the “Camino de Santiago” has historically passed. It is the heart of La Rioja, with its medieval villages, vineyard fields and famous wine cellars protected by the prestigious denomination of origin

Breakfast. Early morning route in order to arrive to San Sebastián. We leave the hotel by bicycle towards the Sierra de Cantabria, which we will cross to continue along quiet roads through the Izki Natural Park. We will have a quick picnic and we will transfer by car to San Sebastián to visit this wonderful city

A beautiful linear route that runs through the picturesque maritime towns of the Basque coast between San Sebastián and Bilbao. To highlight Zarauz, Getaria, Zumaia and finally Lekeitio. It begins with the ascent to Monte Igueldo to descend to Orio and continuation of the route in front of the sea. (This route was cycle by the Tour de France in the year 2023). Return to San Sebastián in private car.

Breakfast. Departure from San Sebastián to carry out a complete bicycle route that we will be combined with short boat trips. The second of which will be used to cross the border between Spain and France.
Varied route that we will begin with the ascent to Mount Jaizkibel, which is ascended in the “Clásica de San Sebastián” (WORLD TOUR bike race), to descend to Hondarribia. Once in France, the coast road between Hendaye and Saint Jean de Luz will be cycled, to visit the picturesque inland villages of the French Basque Country. A final ascent through the Lizuniaga pass (219 meters) through the Pyrenees mountains will take us to the Navarre town of Bera de Bidasoa. Return by car to San Sebastián.
